"World-famous singer D4vd forced a 14-year-old fan to have an abortion and murdered her"

In Los Angeles, prosecutors in the case against singer D4vd have shared new messages that they say show that 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez was pregnant and had undergone an abortion before her death. The revelations came to light on Friday during a pretrial hearing in the case against the artist, whose real name is David Anthony Burke.

The case centers on the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose body was found in September 2025 in the trunk of a Tesla linked to Burke. The girl had just turned fifteen at the time. Burke was later arrested and charged with, among other things, murder, sexual abuse of a minor, and desecration of a corpse.

"Long-term inappropriate relationship"

According to prosecutors, the messages between Burke and the girl indicate a long-standing and inappropriate relationship. They allege that Burke killed her after she threatened to make their contact public and thereby damage his career. In court, reference was also made to conversations in which they discussed living together, as well as to messages dating back to 2022, when Celeste was eleven and Burke was seventeen.

Forced abortion

A detective testified that the DNA traces found in Burke’s home and garage in the Hollywood Hills matched those of the girl. Photos and messages were also reportedly found on his phone that prosecutors say are related to the alleged abuse. The defense disputes this interpretation and, among other things, asked during the hearing whether it is possible that the girl may have harmed herself.

Due to advanced decomposition, the autopsy could not determine the exact time of death. However, it is established that Celeste was last seen on April 3, 2025, at Burke’s home. Her family later reported her missing.

Burke, who was on tour at the time of the discovery, denies all charges. His world tour was canceled following his arrest. The prosecutor has charged him with seven crimes, including murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child, and mutilation of a body. Testimony in the case will resume on Monday.
