President Trump issued an ultimate warning to Iran on Sunday via Truth Social: Iran must quickly reach a peace agreement with the U.S. or "nothing will be left of them".

"For Iran, the clock is ticking, and they had better act fast, or there will be nothing left of them. TIME IS OF ESSENTIAL INTEREST!," US President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social.

On Tuesday, Trump consulted with his national security advisers about possible military options. Meanwhile, tensions continue to rise: a drone attack caused a fire at a nuclear power plant in the United Arab Emirates. For that attack, the UAE holds Iran or its proxies responsible. Saudi Arabia, in turn, intercepted three drones.

Iran demands a lasting cease-fire in Lebanon before it considers a broader deal with Washington, while Hezbollah calls U.S. mediation talks between Israel and Lebanon a "dead end". Israeli airstrikes on Sunday killed seven more people in Lebanon, including an Islamic Jihad commander.
