Trump Phone: $59 million raised, not a single device delivered yet

The T1 Phone, the Trump family's smartphone announced with much excitement, has become a financial scandal. Nearly 600,000 Americans paid $100 in advance for the $499 device, but more than a year after the announcement, not a single phone has been delivered. A total of $59 million has already been raised.

The promises were systematically phased out: from "Made in USA" to "designed with American values in mind". Moreover, the design appears to look suspiciously like an existing 2024 HTC model. Advances are non-refundable and the terms of sale were quietly changed so that an advance does not guarantee delivery.

Both Democrats and angry Trump supporters are now demanding clarification. Donald Trump himself has not yet responded. Meanwhile, his sons Donald Jr. and Eric, who run the company, are selling used Samsung and Apple devices through the Trump Mobile website.

"Those who reserved the T1 Phone will receive an email with an update. The phones are being shipped this week!!!," the company's Facebook page suddenly read this week.

The data and calling plan costs $47.45: an obvious reference to President Donald Trump's terms in office as the 47th and 45th president of the United States.
