Hamshahri, an ultra-conservative newspaper from Tehran, published the words of Mojtaba Khamenei on Saturday. He stated that a “death list” exists to avenge his father’s death.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died on February 28 as a result of the U.S.-Israeli attacks on Iran. His body was buried last week, and his successor, his son Mojtaba Khamenei, stated in a written statement on Saturday that “revenge is inevitable.”
“This revenge is the will of our nation and will inevitably be carried out. These criminals, whose names are on a list, will take their hope of dying peacefully in their beds with them to the grave,” the statement read.
The ultra-conservative newspaper Hamshahri published the “death list,” which includes the names of 13 people held responsible for the death of Ali Khamenei.
The list includes Donald Trump (U.S. President), Benjamin Netanyahu (Prime Minister of Israel), Pete Hegseth (U.S. Secretary of War), Marco Rubio (U.S. Secretary of State), Brad Cooper (U.S. general), Mike Huckabee (U.S. ambassador to Israel), Israel Katz (Israeli Minister of Defense), Gideon Sa’ar (Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs), Eyal Zamir (Commander-in-Chief of the Israeli Army), Giorgia Meloni (Italian Prime Minister), Friedrich Merz (German Chancellor), Emmanuel Macron (French President), and Keir Starmer (outgoing Prime Minister of the United Kingdom).
In addition to the American and Israeli politicians, European leaders are also on the list. Iran accuses European countries of failing to condemn the attacks on its territory and of even playing an active role by granting permission for U.S. military aircraft to fly over their airspace.
