Iran threatens “total destruction of the enemy” if Trump doesn’t stop the bombing

Iran is threatening a “total attack” if U.S. bombings continue for a few more days. Mohsen Rezaï, military adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, made the statement on state television on Friday, as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to escalate.

According to Rezaï , Iran will then no longer limit itself to retaliatory actions. “If the United States continues the war over the next two to three days, we will proceed to attack and completely destroy the enemy,” he said. With this, Tehran is trying to make it clear that, in his view, further U.S. escalation will provoke a much harsher Iranian response.

The threat comes at a time when the United States is strengthening its military presence in the region. Axios reported, citing U.S. and Israeli officials, that Washington is sending dozens of additional tanker aircraft to Israel to facilitate a potentially broader offensive against Iran. These aircraft are intended to support longer operations and in-flight refueling if President Donald Trump decides to expand the campaign.

Meanwhile, U.S. attacks on Iran continued on Friday for the seventh consecutive night. According to Iranian media, targets were struck in the southern province of Hormozgan, on the Strait of Hormuz, among other locations. Provincial authorities reported at least three deaths and eight injuries. Attacks are also reported to have taken place elsewhere in the country, including around Bandar Abbas and on Qeshm. Meanwhile, the U.S. government is considering further attacks on Iranian nuclear and military infrastructure, including possibly a heavily secured complex near Pickaxe Mountain. The attacks are part of a broader strategy to weaken Iran’s military capabilities and put Tehran under pressure once again. The escalation is heightening fears of a regional war with unpredictable consequences. Iran warns that shipping in and around the Strait of Hormuz may also come under increased scrutiny, as the U.S. steps up its airstrikes and military preparations.
